Airline Safety Feature

Our airline safety feature is powered by AirlineRatings.com. This feature gives airlines a 

ratings score, based on their health and safety policies in the wake of COVID-19.

Travellers are able to see individual airline scores for each of the following measures:

• Face masks mandatory
• Plane deep cleaned daily
• Flight crew wearing PPE
• Passenger sanitation packs provided
• Changes to food service

We launched the ratings based on in-depth customer insights relating to flight safety

concerns in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. A June survey* of over 850 travellers

highlighted that airlines’ approach to passenger and crew wellbeing was the most important

element to help reduce traveller anxiety and inform flight selection, followed by health

screening processes and enhanced cabin cleaning processes.
