We can confirm that our internal teams have investigated and resolved the issue that was responsible for the degradation of our Skyscanner Website and corresponding data. While the issue is resolved, some systems and data are still stabilizing and will do so over the next hours ,and days. What are the rate limits associated with the Car Hire APIs and what happens if I go over them?

The rate limits for our Car Hire APIS are the following: for Live Prices API (Create: 15 calls / min & Poll: 60 calls / min); for Indicative API (60 calls / min); for Agents API (60 calls / min). While there is no penalty for exceeding the rate limits, should you go over, you will receive a 429 error code in the response, with the message ‘Too many requests based on your rate limits’.
