I'm not seeing any events at all
If no data are coming through, make sure:
- The google tag manager container is saved and published.
- The trigger is based on a page view.
- You have the tag manager code in production on your website.
I'm seeing events on the diagnostics page but not on the price accuracy page
Make sure that SAT is installed on your frontend, not your backend.
SAT relies on cookies that are set on the browser on skyscanner.net when the user redirects from skyscanner to the partner’s webpage, a cookie is dropped on the browser containing the redirect id then when SAT fires on the partners webpage it sends us back that cookie so we can tie the conversion to a redirect.
If you have installed SAT on a backend service then we won’t be able to get that cookie
What does it mean if the landing page price is invalid or 0 on the price report?
This may be due to an internal formatting issue that we are currently fixing on our end. If you experience this please raise a ticket with our Skyscanner partner services and we will look into this further on our end.
Does my site have to redirect to the booking page?
We are aware that partners who only redirect to a dayview are currently unable to install landing events. This is something that we highly suggest as it is a more user friendly booking experience. We are internally working on a fix for this however, we greatly appreciate partners who make the deeplinking to the booking page change. Please raise a ticket with partner services if you have any questions or concerns and we can assist with this process.
