How does our grouping work?

The Skyscanner grouping layout highlights key pieces of information in order to increase user’s confidence to book. We group based on the presence or absence of the following attributes:

· Fair Fuel Policy

· Free Cancellation

· Unlimited Mileage

· Zero Excess

· (On/Off Airport Pick-up) – Dependent on Vendor 

If we take the below as an example:

Any quote that is returned from an API request that returns the same vendor i.e"Easirent" with the SIPP code that corresponds to Mini 2-3 door and returns the above values, will be grouped together. If all quotes from our partners in this group return other value adds these will be present in the top group of value adds. Any extras (which are not universal to all) will be presented next to the individual quote. From here they will be grouped together from the lowest price down to the highest

By presenting these key factors we give users all the information they need upfront to facilitate their decision making process.
