This guide walks you through to set up or change Click Tracking, URL Parameters, and Impression Pixels tracking for your Skyscanner Ads campaigns in Simplified view mode.
Follow these steps to ensure your tracking setup is valid, compliant and delivering reliable campaign reporting:

Scroll to the Tracking setup section in your campaign

Go to the Tracking setup section in the line item of your campaign. Depending on your account, you'll see:

Add your Third-party click tracking |
Paste a clean Third-party click tracking URL without GDPR macros, extra parameters, or HTML tags. If this is the only change you're making, click Validate tracking setup to confirm compliance |

Add Custom parameters |
First, add UTM or custom parameter names. Then, you can use both static values and dynamic macros. Type @ to explore the available dynamic parameters. For full details, go to the technical documentation. Finally, click Validate tracking setup button to confirm |

Validate the tracking setup |
Click Validate tracking setup button to check that the redirect works and the parameters are correct. Use Open URL to test accessibility. After saving the line item, use the Skyscanner Preview URL if needed - you can find it in the right-hand column. |

Add Impression pixel URL |
Enter a valid impression tracker URL. No HTML tags or unsupported macros. |

Switch to XML view (optional) |
Switch to XML view for advanced editing of tracking code. |
