How to verify the tracking is appended correctly
First we need to check if the ad deeplinks correctly. Open a preview of your ad.
Click on the ad and check that the redirect functions as expected.
Now we want to make 100% sure we’re appending the click tracker and UTMs.
Click the CTA of the ad
Hit ESC to stop the redirect when you see this URL structure
https://www.skyscanner.co.in/transport_deeplink/4.0/IN/en-GB/INR/........Amend the URL to look like this (adding ‘g/redirect_api/’)
https://www.skyscanner.co.in/g/redirect_api/transport_deeplink/4.0/IN/en-GB/INR/........You will now see the deeplink in a debug view. This should show you the click tracker, followed by the deeplink and finally the UTMs attached to the end.
